biography
Mirco Candeloro began his musical journey at the age of 12, taking piano lessons with Orietta Cipriani. After a year, he started to express his creative needs by improvising pieces on the piano. This led to his studies in musical composition under the guidance of Antonio Piovano.
In 2014, he graduated with honours with a first-level degree in piano from the Luisa d'Annunzio Conservatory in Pescara, and the following year, he obtained the Diploma of Intermediate Composition.
In 2016, he contributed an original piece to the Turin web series G&T. In 2017, he collaborated on the film "Controtempo" by director Aurelio Grimaldi with an original piano piece titled "Vento d'Ottobre". In 2019, he earned a master's degree in music for video games from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. In 2024, he completed a second-level degree in Pop-Rock Composition at the Luisa d'Annunzio Conservatory in Pescara.
In 2022, he launched his personal piano project, choosing the stage name Metanio. His first album, "Wandering", mixed and produced entirely by him, is available on Spotify. This was followed by other productions, such as the EP "Escape", where he created a blend of piano sounds, synths, and cinematic mixing techniques. Currently, he collaborates with the Groove Studios music academies, as well as with various professionals in the music industry.
